As a Veena player always maintains his instrument in a particular tune so that he can use it whenever he needs, in the same way an actor whose instrument is his body should tune it in a proper way so that it can be used whenever he needs i.e. he should gain control over his voice, body and mind. Today's fast growing cinema world, numerously upcoming TV and radio channels and ever growing media industry lacks talented artists. To stand in this competitive industry, having good complexion, features and personality is not enough. To become a good anchor or an actor, along with good body language good acting and speaking skills also required. Apart from errorless speech an artist should be able to justify whatever he/she wants to express. In simple terms a good artist should be hard working, goal seeking, self esteemed, responsible, disciplined well determined and adjustable to any environment. Anchoring, NEWS reading etc are also apart of acting.
What is acting?
Acting is not just acting. The audience should be able to feel the role played by the actor.
Example:
The actor should play the role in such a way that the pain felt by him in the situation where his mother is dead should also be felt by the audience. For attaining this perfection in acting, an actor should work hard with utmost concentration.
